Conference Table Manufacturing
Pictures from the workshop of a conference table during manufacturing. This table is designed to seat 30 people and is shaped for video-conferencing viewing angles.
A key challenge is to get enough space in the workshop to lay out all the sections of the top, and to polish such a large conference table in the polishing booth.
The conference table top is made from cross-banded oak with a burr oak centre section and walnut inlay to pick out the line of the cable access flaps. The unusual curved feature panel at one end frames a glass insert, a metre in diameter, that has an etched logo on it.
The final image shows the table being installed on site. For conference tables of this size the understructure is often as much work as the top itself. This image shows the support bearers for the table, which is almost 2.4m at the widest point.
The finished table can be seen in our bespoke conference tables page. Our full range of executive conference room tables include al styles of modular, bespoke, and static boardroom tables.
